FLOATING MOLECULE - EMISSARY OF THE IN-BETWEEN (Michael Godard)

Instructions for Constructing a Crystalline Regime:

1 Prior to 1st of May, aquire the necessary components for the growing of crystals (this can involve simply getting alum crystals, a container etc or a commercially available science set (ie National Geographic et al) that contains everything you will need. Preferably the molecule should be able to simultaneously grow at least three crystals.

2 On May 1st at Midday (NAP) or Midnight (SYD) begin the operation to grow the crystals carefully following whatever additional instuructions come with the crystal set. This beginning should be documented.

3 Place your virtual crystals in a safe and warm place but one accessible to group molecular activity

4 Every day you should tend to your crystals as a collective or individually virtually via the reading of appropriate texts: suggestions, Deleuze on the Crystals of Time, Baudrillard, Revenge of the Crsystal, relevant passages of Matter and Memory and so forth.

5 Both the reading and the development of the crystals should be fully documented and uploaded to the Soc of Molecules site(s) on a daily basis.

6 Note should be taken on the apparent responsiveness of the forming crystals to different theoretical paradigms.

7 Continue until the 8th of May by when the molecules will have been fully crytallised (further experiments in crystalline communication via shared insturctions are encouraged!!).
