Neapolitan molecule

‘The Neo-Oriental School of Precursive Studies’

Short description: Our molecule is
focusing the activity around the deleuzian concept of `Dark
Precursor´, working toward generating a series of
installations about the future of the University in the
neogothic church `Cappella Pappacoda´ - built in the XV
century and used in the past decade as the location of
graduation ceremonies at `L´Orientale´. We think
about the church as a site of coexistence of temporal series
referring to the XVth century memories of apocalyptic plague
epidemics, the present of endless graduation ceremonies and the
chaotic future of higher education between diverging time series
carrying the promise of autonomous education and research and
mindless automation of the same functions. 3.Representative
